The responsibility of managing a substantial 1,00,000 square kilometers, encompassing major state highways and key district roads, lies with the Public Works Department. Recognizing the need for regular maintenance and immediate repairs to ensure safe and efficient transportation, the Government has embarked on a transformative journey with the establishment of Maharashtra – State Infrastructure Development Corporation.
Competitive Bidding: In adherence to Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the Central and various State governments, MSIDC actively participates in competitive bidding for infrastructure projects. This ensures a transparent and fair selection process for the execution of diverse projects.
