About MSIDC

Welcome to Maharashtra - State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC)

In the vast expanse of Maharashtra, covering approximately 3,00,000 square kilometers, a significant portion is occupied by an extensive network of roads. The responsibility of managing a substantial 1,00,000 square kilometers, encompassing major state highways and key district roads, lies with the Public Works Department. Recognizing the need for regular maintenance and immediate repairs to ensure safe and efficient transportation, the Government has embarked on a transformative journey with the establishment of Maharashtra - State Infrastructure Development Corporation.

Our Mission

  • Innovative Revenue Generation: MSIDC aims to collect revenue through innovative means such as the monetization of government land, advertisement rights, and additional toll charges on specific roads. The funds generated will be judiciously utilized for the development and maintenance of roads and buildings.
  • Repair and Maintenance: A significant portion of the revenue generated will be allocated for the repair and maintenance of existing roads. This proactive approach ensures the sustainability and longevity of the state’s road infrastructure.
  • Public-Private Partnership (PPP): MSIDC is committed to fostering collaborations through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects. By engaging with private entities, we aim to leverage expertise and resources for efficient project execution and delivery.
  • Government to Government (G to G): MSIDC is not confined to Maharashtra but extends its influence through Government to Government (G to G) projects within and outside the state. This collaborative approach fosters inter-state cooperation and contributes to the overall development of the region.

Competitive Bidding: In adherence to Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the Central and various State governments, MSIDC actively participates in competitive bidding for infrastructure projects. This ensures a transparent and fair selection process for the execution of diverse projects.
