The Hadapsar to Yewat corridor is set for major capacity enhancement with the upgrade of the existing 4-lane road with paved shoulders into a 6-lane elevated road and a 6-lane at-grade road. The total length of the proposed highway is 31.5 km, with a proposed right of way of 30 meters. Designed to support rising traffic volumes, the corridor currently handles approximately 54,817 PCU/day. Tolling will be implemented as per the NHAI Toll Policy. The project requires 47.25 hectares of land acquisition and carries a total estimated cost of ₹4,258 crore. The Draft DPR has been submitted by NHAI to MSIDC, and the project is now awaiting Cabinet approval from the Government of Maharashtra (GoM).
